Habits: Ruane has a reputation for cold and ruthless efficiency that is only partially warranted. Tends to go easier on non-Imperial Guard under his command, though he also holds enough of a bias not to trust non-Imperial Guards with important missions or information unless absolutely necessary.
Enjoys fine wine and theatrical productions when off duty. Tends towards more expensive civilian clothing when out of his armor. Tends to keep living and work space extremely neat, possibly due to early military education. Fluent in the Sith language and grudgingly fluent in Huttese, though very rarely deigns to speak it.
Known History: Born on Ziost to a family of wealthy merchants from New Adasta, Ruane was sent for military education on Dromund Kaas from a young age. Joining the Imperial Navy at the age of 18, he started out as a pilot during the war, but rose up the ranks, eventually gaining notoriety for fighting toe-to-toe with Force-trained Selkath during a battle over Manaan. Eventually, he joined the Imperial Guard. Aided in Imperial operations on Corellia and Ilum.
Allegiance assumed to have remained with the Sith Emperor. Ruane disappeared from Imperial space shortly before the Yavin 4 and Ziost incidents and only recently reappeared in Darth Exedo’s employment.
